Coming on this tour with us is like rotating a card stand at the island’s tourist shop, and then having these pictures come alive. Honestly, Kefalonia has the most picturesque and photogenic, cute little towns to discover. We collected the most instagrammable spots for you and completed the tour with refreshing swim stops at stunning beaches. Ready to step into this postcard?

    1st stop: Myrtos Beach

    (swim stop)

Fancy a swim at the breath-taking award winning Myrtos Beach!
Myrtos competes with the best beaches worldwide and has been voted the most beautiful beach of Greece multiple times. The colours of its waters alter from deep blue to pastel blue and turquoise. Topping off with its dazzling white pebbles, this astonishing beach is a must-see, must-swim and must-experience!

    2nd stop: Assos

Pastel coloured houses and flower-filled alleys everywhere you look. Like a painting really. The village of Assos is situated on top of a land bridge to its own little peninsula on the west coast of Kefalonia. The small village is home to only about one hundred inhabitants. The tranquillity of this idyllic place will overwhelm you. Assos has a small harbour, two pebble beaches and the ruins of a 16th century Venetian fortress. The scenery of your favourite romantic novel.

    3rd stop: Fiscardo

In 1953 Kefalonia got hit by a destructive earthquake that destroyed almost the entire island. Except Fiscardo. Somehow Fiscardo managed to stay intact. As a result, you will find an unblemished village that breathes the Venetian style as the Venetians ruled Kefalonia for almost 300 years.

Nowadays, Fiscardo stands out for its cosmopolitan significance. Explore this picturesque car free village by strolling through the small streets, shopping at the boutiques, sitting by the harbourside or having a meal/treat/refreshment at one of the many bars or restaurants.

4th stop: Foki or Emplisi Beach

    (swim stop)

The beaches around Fiscardo are truly breath taking. They are cute pebble inlets surrounded by tall stately Cypress trees and ancient olive trees. Safe swimming and great for snorkelling too. Allow the clear waters to calm you down and to rearrange today’s big impressions.
