Would you prefer to see many highlights in one day? To discover the gems spread all over the island? A complete day, in which we will proudly show you the most wanted places on Kefalonia.

We got you covered! We like to emphasize that we will still be doing this trip at your own pace. We will just spend more time showing you our island.

    1st stop: Myrtos Beach

    (swim stop AND photo stop)

Fancy a swim at the breath-taking award winning Myrtos Beach!
Myrtos competes with the best beaches worldwide and has been voted the most beautiful beach of Greece multiple times. The colours of its waters alter from deep blue to pastel blue and turquoise. Topping off with its dazzling white pebbles, this astonishing beach is a must-see, must-swim and must-experience!

    2nd stop: Assos

Pastel coloured houses and flower-filled alleys everywhere you look. Like a painting really. The village of Assos is situated on top of a land bridge to its own little peninsula on the west coast of Kefalonia. The small village is home to only about one hundred inhabitants. The tranquillity of this idyllic place will overwhelm you. Assos has a small harbour, two pebble beaches and the ruins of a 16th century Venetian fortress. The scenery of your favourite romantic novel.

    3rd stop: Fiskardo

In 1953 Kefalonia got hit by a destructive earthquake that destroyed almost the entire island. Except Fiscardo. Somehow Fiscardo managed to stay intact. As a result, you will find an unblemished village that breathes the Venetian style as the Venetians ruled Kefalonia for almost 300 years.

Nowadays, Fiscardo stands out for its cosmopolitan significance. Explore this picturesque car free village by strolling through the small streets, shopping at the boutiques, sitting by the harbourside or having a meal/treat/refreshment at one of the many bars or restaurants.

    4th stop: Agia Efimia

Traditional tavernas and restaurants line the waterfront overlooking this charming harbour. Agia Efimia used to be a traditional fishing village. Over the years it has grown in popularity with tourists and its thriving atmosphere.

    5th stop: Melissani Lake

Fairytale Melissani Lake, situated in the cave of the nymphs… sounds promising right? The cave’s roof collapsed hundreds of years ago due to an earthquake, and now allows the sunlight to enter the cave. Magic happens when the sunrays touch the lake’s water. Take a seat in one of the few gondola boats and be mesmerized by the colours, the ‘shimmer & shine’ and the stories this mythological lake has to offer.

    6th stop: Drogarati Cave

This centuries old underground cave holds impressive stalactites & stalagmites. Nature took millions of years to grow them and together they form a spectacular scene. The cool and moist climate inside the cave, as well as the dimmed golden spotlights contribute to a surreal setting altogether. Also, the acoustics within the cave are unique. Therefore, the cave has been the site for concerts such as rock and opera music throughout the past.

    …just a little note,

we might also start from Drogarati Cave and end up at Myrtos beach for a swim and a photoshoot, if we think you’ll get the most out of it, due to weather and or long lines at attractions (sometimes the heat is just too much!). Of course you can ask and we can swap it around for you!
